Purpose

• Used where the connection point (like to a duct, rectangular equipment nozzle, or square-to-round transition) is square or rectangular on one side, but connects to round piping on the other.
• Common in ducting systems, fan connections, exhaust systems, and equipment inlets/outlets.

Structure

• Two Bellows Allows greater movement absorption (axial, lateral, angular).
• Central Spool/Pipe Maintains distance between bellows and allows lateral flexibility.
• Square Flange Side

• Matches the duct or rectangular connection face.
• Bolt holes arranged per ducting equipment pattern.
• May require gussets or stiffeners to keep flange from distortion.

Other End

Usually round flange (ANSI/DIN) or welding end for pipe connection.

Tie Rods (if pressure thrust needs to be restrained).
